GAPS - Their singular vision for what music can and should be begins with Rachel’s soulful, folk-tinged vocal and guitar which find a perfect resolution in the immaculately placed loops, repetitions and samples that recall Steve Reich as much as Four Tet and Jon Hopkins.

DOG IN THE SNOW - Inspired by Sufjan Stevens, The National and Sigur Ros, seen supporting Real Estate, D.D Dumbo and Chrysta Bell, the band experiments with existential-driven lyrics and layers of off-kilter sounds to create a peripatetic musical landscape. “Beautiful, ethereal, and at times fragile.” - Gold Flake Paint

KUB makes other worldly, dreamy electronic textures. Her music touches on themes of temptation, venomous relationships, and the cruel wonders of the world. KUB will be known to many Brightonians as an ex-member of Us Baby Bear Bones.

Triptych #2 is an album made up of three singles from GAPS, Dog in the Snow and KUB. They each played the second night of the Triptych festival, which consists of three nights each featuring three of our favourite Brighton-based bands and each accompanied by a lathe-cut vinyl release, one for each night, limited to a mere 11 copies each or 33 across all three releases.
